Our Practice

It's What Defines Us

The wow factor

The Village Prosthodontics team has a WOW Factor because we are welcoming, caring, empathetic, organized, and educated.  Patients recognize the welcoming attitude during their first phone call when they are greeted in a friendly, professional manner and are scheduled within a week.  The atmosphere in the reception area, where patients have a brief wait, is comfortable and beverages are available.  When patients enter the treatment area, they are met with the same reassurance and superior treatment that would be provided to loved ones.  The WOW Factor is evident from the first phone call and every visit thereafter.

I have trained extensively and continuously attend training in practice management, team building, customer relations and human resources. I am very dedicated to the practice and strive to always make the practice and our team even better.

Mrs. Debra D. Middleton

Office Manager

Mrs. Debra D. Middleton

While my first education was in Nursing studies, I have spent 20 years of my career providing concierge and management services in dentistry – 10 years in periodontal care and 10 years in Smile Design. I am thrilled to be on the Village Periodontics team, in an office that provides first-quality dental and periodontal care in a state-of-the-art environment with warmth and careful attention to detail … all of the things I was looking for in my new dental home!

When you visit, my main focus is on creating a positive and professional environment for our team so together we can provide the highest level of patient care. But my favorite part? That’s providing you with the knowledge you need to make informed and confident decisions that improve your oral and overall health.

I believe that the foundation for better oral health is based on trust, understanding, communication, and respect. If we always display these abilities as a team, then we can make a positive difference in your life – and that’s the best part of working in dentistry!

I was born in Bushnell but spent most of my adult life in Wellington. Wanting to be closer to my family again, I made the move to Ocala with my husband James and our children in 2018 – and I love being back! I don’t have any formal pets – rather, we’ve created a wildlife oasis in our backyard. Hummingbird feeders, nesting tools, and watering sites bring nature to us, and we quite enjoy it!

When I’m not serving others through dentistry or with James’ business of paying tribute and memorializing loved ones, I enjoy gardening, baking, painting, and photography.

Mrs. Crystal Newvine

Receptionist and Phlebotomist

Mrs. Crystal Newvine

Ocala is my hometown and I’ve loved living there my whole life. I joined Village Periodotics in the spring (2020) and am really enjoying my unique dual position as Receptionist and as a phlebotomist. This means that I’m focused on providing you excellent customer service when you call and when you are at the practice, and when your treatment requires blood tests (I draw and prepare samples for testing). My mission is to always ensure your comfort and ensure you leave our practice feeling happy and confident. I live my dental health philosophy: always take care of yourself physically and mentally for a happier life.

I’m married to Shane and we have a young son named Bryan. And then there’s a dog and a fish! With my family, I love to go on adventures and I also really enjoy cooking. I’m known for my huge heart and enjoy helping everyone I can in any way possible. One of the ways I volunteer is at a local Covid-19 clinic, taking swabs. I dream of becoming a doctor, and who knows, it may come true. I never thought I’d be the strong woman, wife, and mother I am today!
